Systems in South Sudan
This systems-oriented design project explored the complex challenges facing South Sudan, including the long-term effects of conflict, limited infrastructure, and climate change.
Working with the Norwegian Church Aid and the Norwegian defence sector as context, we mapped interconnected systems and explored opportunities for strengthening local capacity and reducing long-term dependency on foreign aid.
Our work was guided by a vision of supporting systems that can become more locally sustained and resilient, rather than dependent on external organisations.
